Leading Tamil General Entertainment Channel Vijay TV revised its prime-time schedule with new telecast timings for three popular serials. Mahanadhi Sagodharigalin Kadhai moved to 7:00 PM, Aha Kalyanam Dum Dum Dum shifted to 7:30 PM, while Eeramaana Rojavey Season 2 moved to 9:30 PM.
The changes rearranged three important evening slots without affecting the telecast timings of most of the channel’s other fiction programmes.

Mahanadhi Sagodharigalin Kadhai was originally launched on 23 January in the 9:30 PM slot. Following the Vijay TV schedule revision, the serial moved to the earlier 7:00 PM slot.
Kamurudin, Prathiba, Lakshmi Priya, Rudran Praveen, Saravanan and Sujatha Sivakumar are among the prominent actors appearing in the serial.

Aha Kalyanam Dum Dum Dum, which originally aired at 7:00 PM, moved to the 7:30 PM slot as part of the schedule change.
The serial had already crossed the 100-episode milestone. Mounika, Vikram Shri, Akshaya Kandamuthan, Gayathri Sri, Vibish Aswanth, R. G. Ram and Bhavya Sree are among the lead cast members.
Aha Kalyanam is the official Tamil adaptation of the Bengali serial Gaatchora. Gaatchora has also been adapted in other Indian languages as Teri Meri Doriyaann, Brahmamudi, Patharamattu, Katheyondu Shuruvagide and Laxmichya Paulanni.
Eeramaana Rojavey Season 2 New Time – 9:30 PM
Eeramaana Rojavey Season 2 moved from 7:30 PM to the 9:30 PM prime-time slot.
The serial features Dhiraviam Rajakumaran as Jeeva, Siddharth as Parthiban, Swathi Konde as Priya and Gabriella Charlton as Kaviya in prominent roles.

At the time of these schedule changes, Vijay TV was also preparing for Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7. The grand launch was scheduled for Sunday, 1 October at 6:00 PM, with regular episodes scheduled at 9:30 PM daily.
The channel also scheduled the Kathanayagi Grand Finale for Sunday, 1 October at 3:00 PM. Shalini from Coimbatore, Akshay from Madurai, twins Rubina and Rubisina from Pollachi, and Pavithra from Chennai were among the finalists.
New on Star Vijay – Bigg Boss The Common Man
In 2026, Bigg Boss Tamil is introducing another new initiative with Bigg Boss – The Common Man, a special digital pre-show created to identify and select non-celebrity participants for Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10.
Bigg Boss – The Common Man premieres on 16 August 2026, offering aspiring contestants a route towards participation in the upcoming Bigg Boss Tamil season.
