Kuku TV has launched Sabse Bada Dramebaaz, described as India’s first acting reality microdrama, bringing a talent hunt and reality competition into a vertical, mobile-first format. The 50-episode series is co-presented with Meesho and powered by Tinder, with each episode running for approximately two minutes.
The nationwide competition began with more than 2,000 audition entries, generating crores of views and lakhs of audience votes. After multiple stages of selection, 12 finalists moved to the offline competition in Mumbai.
The first three rounds, covering nearly 30 episodes, are streaming on the Kuku TV app, while the Sabse Bada Dramebaaz Grand Finale will release on 15 August 2026.

How Were the Sabse Bada Dramebaaz Finalists Selected?
The nationwide talent search attracted more than 2,000 audition entries. Audience participation played an important role in the initial selection, with the auditions generating lakhs of votes.
The 100 most-voted entries advanced to the next stage. Kuku TV microdrama actors Eshaanya Maheshwari and Siddharth Sharma then selected 11 contestants for the finals.
A 12th contestant received a wildcard entry through the Meesho Creator Club, completing the Top 12.
The competition subsequently moved to Mumbai, where the finalists participated in four offline rounds before a live audience and judging panel.
Rakesh Bedi, Jannat Zubair and Prince Narula as Judges
Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi, along with actors and digital personalities Jannat Zubair and Prince Narula, forms the judging panel of Sabse Bada Dramebaaz.
Their participation marks their first association with the microdrama format. Jannat Zubair and Prince Narula also perform as part of the show.
The contestants are tested through a format incorporating romance, action, comedy, suspense and drama, combining a traditional acting talent hunt with short-form vertical storytelling.
Sabse Bada Dramebaaz Grand Finale on 15 August 2026
The first three competition rounds, comprising nearly 30 episodes, are already available on Kuku TV.
The competition concludes with the Grand Finale releasing on 15 August 2026.
Two contestants will ultimately emerge as winners – one male and one female. Each winner will receive a ₹5 lakh cash prize, along with an opportunity to play a lead role in an upcoming Kuku TV microdrama.
Kuku TV Experiments With Reality Shows in Microdrama Format
Sabse Bada Dramebaaz adapts familiar reality television elements such as auditions, audience voting, judges, elimination rounds and a grand finale for a mobile-first microdrama audience.
Instead of conventional television-length episodes, the series consists of approximately two-minute vertical episodes designed primarily for smartphone viewing.
Sachin Singh, Head of Kuku TV, said the project combines the platform’s focus on creator empowerment, content innovation and audience entertainment. Kuku TV says its ecosystem supports more than 50,000 creators and uses an AI storytelling stack as part of its approach to developing microdrama content.
With 50 short episodes, audience participation, celebrity judges and acting opportunities for the winners, Sabse Bada Dramebaaz represents Kuku TV’s attempt to bring the reality talent-show model into India’s growing microdrama space.
