Arshad Warsi and Pratik Gandhi Face Each Other
Arshad Warsi plays Maharaj, while Pratik Gandhi portrays Aditya. Their confrontation forms the dramatic core of the film.
Although the conflict initially appears to be between a police officer and a criminal, it soon develops into a much larger struggle for control. Both characters operate in a world where morality exists in shades of grey and conventional ideas of heroes and villains do not necessarily apply.
Ishita Dutta also appears in a pivotal role, adding another important dimension to the film’s character-driven narrative.

ZEE5 on Supporting Unconventional Stories
Kaveri Das, Business Head, Hindi ZEE5 and Chief Channel Officer, &TV, said that great storytelling involves taking risks, supporting strong voices and challenging established conventions.

According to Das, the confrontation between Arshad Warsi and Pratik Gandhi takes the narrative beyond a conventional police-versus-criminal conflict.
“Tigmanshu Dhulia brings his distinctive sensibility to a world where power, loyalty, politics and survival are rarely black and white. There are no easy heroes or villains here, and that’s what keeps you invested,” she added.

Produced by Fresh Lime Productions, Sumo Didi is described as a story of resilience and determination. Ikroop, produced by AAZ Films and starring Mithila Palkar and Gauahar Khan, explores survival and justice.
