Gaatchora, originally telecast on Star Jalsha, became a successful Bengali family drama and was subsequently adapted by the Star network into several Indian languages.
Brahmamudi is its Telugu adaptation for Star Maa. The channel launched the serial on 24 January 2023, with the show taking over the 7:30 PM slot.
