Spending long hours together on set often turns co-actors into family, with shared routines, inside jokes and little habits slowly becoming part of everyday life. Sony SAB actors Srishti Singh, Iqbal Khan, Deeksha Joshi, and Nitin Babu recently opened up about the interesting habits and qualities they’ve adopted from their fellow actors while working closely together. From staying calm under pressure to maintaining discipline and positivity on set, the actors share how these small influences have left a lasting impact on them, both personally and professionally.
Srishti Singh, who plays Dr. Vaani in Yaadein, shared, “One thing I’ve definitely picked up from my co-stars, especially Gulki, is the habit of staying calm even during the most hectic shoot days. Earlier, I would easily get stressed if things became too rushed, but now I’ve learned how important it is to stay composed and just enjoy the process. Spending time with people who handle pressure so gracefully naturally rubs off on you.”

Iqbal Khan, who plays Dr. Dev Mehta in Yaadein, shared, “One thing I’ve definitely picked up from the younger cast is their lighthearted energy and the way they constantly roast each other without ever taking it seriously. Now I’ve started doing the same with them. What I really admire about all of them is that they never complain, unlike what we hear about Gen Z. They’re always positive, energetic, and having fun, which honestly is something to learn from.”
Deeksha Joshi, who plays Deepti in Pushpa Impossible, shared, “I’ve genuinely picked up a growing interest in dancing from Karuna ma’am. She has such an infectious energy whenever music plays on set, and somehow she always manages to pull everyone into it. Watching her enjoy it so effortlessly made me start enjoying dance a lot more too. Now, whenever there’s music playing between shots, I find myself joining in instead of just watching from the side.”
Nitin Babu, who plays Chirag in Pushpa Impossible, shared, “Earlier, I used to quietly have lunch alone in my vanity because that just felt more comfortable to me. But after spending more time with everyone on set, I slowly picked up the habit of eating together with the whole team. Now, lunch breaks have honestly become one of the most fun parts of the day, with everyone chatting, joking around and just unwinding together. It really changes the energy of the entire day.”
