Sony SAB’s Yaadein continues to entertain viewers with its blend of humor, emotion, and relatable storytelling. In the latest track, Yaadein serial actor Krishna Bharadwaj takes on one of his most unusual roles yet as Sattu, a character whose strange behavior leaves both his family and hospital staff searching for answers.
The ongoing storyline revolves around Sattu, played by Krishna Bharadwaj, whose actions lead his family to believe that he is channeling the spirit of his late wife, Babli. The mystery creates several humorous situations while keeping viewers curious about the truth behind his behavior.
To bring the character to life, Krishna Bharadwaj underwent a complete transformation, dressing as Babli in a traditional Banarasi saree along with heavy jewelry, a wig, earrings, and makeup. The actor revealed that the physical transformation was far more challenging than he had expected.
Speaking about the experience, Krishna Bharadwaj said, “This character was very different for me because I had to completely transform into a woman. Wearing the saree, heavy jewelry, wig, earrings, and all the makeup was not easy at all. After a few hours, I would start feeling the weight of everything because of the wig and clips. It honestly made me realise how much effort female actors put in every single day while shooting. I have a whole new respect for them.”
Loading ...He added that despite the challenges, the experience was enjoyable and gave him an opportunity to explore a completely different side of performance.
“The lighter tone of the track allowed me to enjoy the fun of switching between characters. It came naturally after rehearsals and was a refreshing experience,” he said.
With its unique mix of comedy, mystery, and family-friendly entertainment, Yaadein continues to offer viewers engaging stories filled with heartwarming moments and unexpected twists.
