Ultra Media Group has secured two recognitions at the 16th Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Awards, marking another milestone in its journey within the Indian media and entertainment industry. The Awards celebrate excellence in Indian cinema and storytelling. They are held coinciding with the birth anniversary of the Father of Indian Cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke.
The Best Director – Jury Award was won for its Marathi web series “Khotachi Wadi”, directed by Rajesh Chavan and produced by Ultra Media Group. This series, which began streaming on Ultra Jhakaas OTT in January 2026, is recognised for its strong storytelling and direction. It features Suhas Joshi, Saaniya Chaudhari, Kashyap Parulekar, and Abheney Saawant in key roles.
In addition, the Marathi film “Better Half Chi Love Story” received a Special Festival Mention Certificate, with Rajat Agrawal being recognised for his contribution as producer. The film, which was theatrically released on August, 2025, stars Subodh Bhave, Rinku Rajguru, and Prarthana Behere, further adding to Ultra’s growing portfolio of diverse content.
