ZEE5 Hindi has announced the digital premiere of Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, starring Kangana Ranaut, Girija Oak Godbole and Smita Tambe in prominent roles. The film will begin streaming on 14 August, arriving on the platform ahead of Independence Day.
Written and directed by Manoj Tapadia, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata focuses on the courage of unsung heroes during one of the darkest chapters in Mumbai’s history. The film is set against the backdrop of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and places hospital workers at the centre of its story.

Marking its Independence Day programming, ZEE5 Hindi will premiere Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata digitally on 14 August. The film presents a story centred on ordinary people whose courage and sense of responsibility turned them into heroes during an extraordinary crisis.
The film is produced by PEN Studios, Manikarnika Films and Paramhans Creations, in association with Eunoia Films LLP and Floating Rocks Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Story – Unsung Heroes of the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks
Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is set against the backdrop of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, with its story unfolding within Mumbai’s Cama and Albless Hospital.
Rather than focusing only on the larger events surrounding the attacks, the film turns its attention towards the people working inside the hospital. Nurses, ward boys, cleaners, security personnel and other members of the hospital staff suddenly found themselves becoming the first line of defence for the patients under their care.
When attackers breached the hospital premises, these ordinary individuals were confronted with an extraordinary situation. With limited means of protection, they placed the safety and lives of their patients ahead of their own.
Through their experiences, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata explores sacrifice, courage, compassion, duty and resilience, highlighting people whose contributions may otherwise have remained outside the spotlight.
