Asianet has announced OG Onam, its special 10-day entertainment campaign for Onam 2026, bringing together world television premieres, reality shows, festive programmes, special episodes and star-studded events.
Built around the traditions associated with Onam in Kerala, the campaign will celebrate everything from Pookkalam and Mahabali’s homecoming to Onasadya and families gathering together for festive television entertainment.

Asianet Announces 10-Day OG Onam Celebration
Asianet’s OG Onam campaign is designed as a 10-day celebration, with each day built around a different theme representing the traditional spirit and cultural identity of Kerala’s biggest festival.
The campaign combines traditional Onam elements with Asianet‘s entertainment properties, bringing movies, fiction, non-fiction, food programmes and special events together under a single festive lineup.
Asianet is positioning OG Onam around the idea of celebrating Onam through its original traditions and the shared experience of families coming together for entertainment during the festival.
Drishyam 3 Leads Asianet’s Onam Movie Premieres
World television premieres form one of the biggest attractions of Asianet’s Onam 2026 programming.
The movie lineup opens with Prathichaya, followed by Mollywood Times, described as a coming-of-age story. Audiences can also watch Vazha 2, an emotionally grounded comedy drama, and the comedy sequel Mohiniyattam.
The major attraction of the festive movie lineup is the much-awaited world television premiere of Drishyam 3.
Together, Prathichaya, Mollywood Times, Vazha 2, Mohiniyattam and Drishyam 3 form Asianet’s principal world television premiere slate for OG Onam.
Bigg Boss Agnipareeksha During Onam
Asianet’s non-fiction programming will also play an important role in the 10-day celebration.
