Summer is more than just a season, it’s a feeling of freedom, nostalgia, and simple joys that stay with you forever. From long carefree days and family vacations to mango-filled afternoons, ice creams, and childhood mischief under the sun, summer holds a special place in everyone’s heart. It’s a time when routines slow down, laughter comes easy, and memories are made in the smallest of moments. This year, Sony SAB Actors Gulki Joshi, Muskan Bamne and Akshhaya Hindallkar take a walk down memory lane as they share what summer means to them, from cherished childhood moments to traditions that continue to bring them joy.
Iqbal Khan, playing the role of Dr. Dev in Yaadein, shares, “Whenever I think of summer, my mind goes back to my time in Kashmir. Honestly, summer never really felt like summer there because the weather was always so pleasant. We lived in a large colony, and those days were all about being outdoors from morning till sundown. We would spend the day playing, running around, picking apples, and just making the most of every moment outside. We’d only come back home by evening and be knocked out by 7:30 at the latest. Those carefree childhood summers remain some of my happiest memories”

Gulki Joshi, playing the role of Srishty in Yaadein, shares, “Summers have always felt very nostalgic to me. It’s a mix of quiet afternoons, reading and just slowing down. Growing up, I remember spending time at my nani’s house, where days would pass so simply, chatting, helping around, or just sitting together. There was a certain calm in those moments. It’s that warmth and stillness that I continue to associate with summer even today.”
Muskan Bamne, playing the role of Shanaya in Pushpa Impossible, shares, “For me, summer always meant a sense of freedom and a bit of adventure. I remember visiting relatives and spending time outdoors, sometimes even trying to pluck raw mangoes straight from the tree with friends. Those little mischief-filled moments, mixed with family time, made summers feel so exciting. Even now, those memories instantly bring a smile.”
Akshhaya Hindallkar, playing the role of Rashi in Pushpa Impossible, shares, “Summer has always been about bonding and creating memories with cousins and friends. We would plan small picnics, play games for hours, and come up with our own little adventures. I also remember staying up late, sharing stories and laughing over the smallest things. It’s those carefree, unplanned moments that truly made summers unforgettable for me.”
