Udaya TV Dasara celebrations and premier kannada films
Udaya TV which has been entertaining Kannada audience with spectacular programs is giving yet another program this Dasara festive season. Serial Habba which was celebrated at Dharwad with popular serial actors from jojolaali, sarayu and kaveri coming together to meet and greet their fans and have a fun filled evening with lots of dance and entertainment involved will be telecasted on 29th of September at 4:30pm.
Jojolali, sarayu and kaveri lead actors enthusiastically performed to the new trending kannada songs where the energetic senior artists performed to the retro songs leaving behind the younger lot. Actors, directors and writer also interacted with the audience and answered the questions asked by their fans. Niranjan and shalini hosted the show and won audiences hearts with their humorous talking skills.
Udaya Serial Habba along with entertainment, honored Late Lance Naik Hanumanthappa Koppad, a brave soldier who lost his life at siachen military base, the audience lighted candles on his remembrance and Guinness world record winner Pandith Prasanna Madhava Gudi for their contributions in their respective fields along with Two Dharwad girls receiving grant in aid. Being present in the ceremony was former chief minister Jagadish shettar praised Udaya TV for its social initiatives.
Mahadevi, wife of late lance Naik Hanunmanthappa koppad, spoke to the audience on the occasion and spread the message of being patriotic to the nation by sending one child from the family for service of the country, present at the same occasion was Dharwad MLA Arvind Bellad.
The day previous to the occasion, the artists were warmly welcomed by the residents of banashankari nagar, the same evening was an interaction between the students of vidyaranya pre-university and Government first grade degree colleges and also shared a few dance steps together followed by visiting the rajathagiri old age home and school for the deaf and dumb and donated fruits and notebooks.
