The grand finale of most watched reality show in Karnataka, Suvarna Television’s— Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandru (City folks come to the forest) will be telecast on January 8, 2011. A non-stop 14 hours show starting from 9 am.
The significance of the finale is, like the program from very first episode, it was completely shot in the dense forest. And the Sidda tribal community people are the chief guests. In this show, 12 boys and girls from the city had to live like tribes in the dense forest (Dandeli, 600km from Bangalore) for 60 days.

Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandru is the 3rd sequel from Suvarna after the grand success of Pyete Hudigir Halli Lifu (City Girls – Village Life) & Halli Hyda Pyateg Banda (Tribal Boys Comes to City). The sequels changed the way reality shows are made in Karnataka and became sort of bench marks on Kannada GEC with rating crossing 7 TVRs.
“The objective of the reality show is to present the tribal life and human evolution to the viewers. Tribes from the forest played an important role in completing this 75 days shoot. In the process, we have effectively communicated the need for forest conservation and green planet” says Anup Chandrashekharan, Business Head, Suvarna.

The show spotlighted on how 12 people from city left their urban surroundings and lived and experienced life among the tribes and learnt about their progress. How modern day youth caught in the chaotic life of the city spent time amidst the Sidda tribes learning about their ways and progress, was the show’s effort.
The grand finale of Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandru will be telecast in 14 hour non stop marathon, this Saturday, 8th Jan 2011. 9am to 11pm.Telecast of previous 2 sequels’ finales garnered huge viewership with Suvarna’s Channel share being over 3 times ahead of that of nearest competition.
