Udaya TV has made all preparations to air the new ʻMangalyaʼ serial with a different emotional storyline in line with the new trend. The new ʻMangalyaʼ will start from Tuesday, September 2nd at 7 pm with the slogan ʻMangalavara Mangalyaʼ. The first Kannada serial to start airing on Tuesday is ʻMangalyaʼ.
Mayuri of Durgapur is a girl who takes on all responsibilities like a son. She has a hand in agricultural work, dairy farming. She is also in charge of the garden of a wealthy family in the city. The protagonist, Tarak, is the son of that wealthy family. Tarak is allergic to the behavior of his mother, who is proud of her wealth. He has become an alcoholic due to some reason. A good-natured drunkard, on one occasion, ties a knot with Mayuri, a poor family member, to break his mother’s pride. From there, Mayuri’s new journey in life begins.
Jagan, the favorite hero of Kannada television viewers of Bigg Boss, Gandhari, Lakshman, Srigauri fame, is playing the role of a good-natured drunkard husband in ‘Mangallya’. He is also the producer and the main director. “This is my first serial with Udaya TV. In this, I am playing the three roles of actor, director and producer. The role of a drunkard is very challenging. I am preparing a lot for this. There is a huge responsibility as a director. I am doing that job with dedication. Also, it is a good experience as a producer. Udaya TV’s prestigious title is ‘Mangallya’. I am lucky to be doing a serial under this title again. I am grateful to SunTV Network for providing me with such an opportunity,” says Jagan.
Renowned artist Aishwarya Pisse is seen in the role of a wife who brings her drunkard husband back to his senses in ‘Mangallya’. Apart from Kannada serials like Anurupa, Girija Kalyana, Sarvamangala Mangalye, Sundari, she has acted in Telugu serials and films like Santhu Straight Forward and Srikantha. “I am happy that Udaya TV has chosen me for this role after the Sundari serial. I am confident that I will do justice to the role of Mayuri, a responsible, soft-natured girl.
