Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi chronicles the journey of Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan), a selfless young girl who takes on the responsibility of being a parent to her siblings. From supporting her family through life’s hardships to navigating the complexities of love and marriage, Anvita has constantly made sacrifices in the hope of maintaining peace around her. As she tries to move forward in her life with her husband Sanjay (Rishi Saxena), the lingering presence of her past relationship with Virat (Rajat Verma) continues to test her resolve in unexpected ways.

Anvita makes a conscious effort to bring closure to her past by trying to bring Virat and Dhruvi (Garima Kaushal) together. Believing that Virat finding happiness with Dhruvi will finally help him move on and allow Anvita to fully focus on her marital life with Sanjay. While her intentions are sincere, the situation remains emotionally complicated. On the other hand, differences begin to surface between her and Sanjay as she starts questioning some of his recent monetary splurges and growing toxicity. Torn between holding her family together and stepping back to let Virat and Dhruvi’s relationship bloom, Anvita puts on a brave front, even as these unresolved issues quietly build tension.
Sumbul Touqeer Khan, who essays the role of Anvita, shared, “Anvita’s journey right now is about choosing peace, even when it hurts. She genuinely believes that if Virat finds happiness with Dhruvi, it will give closure to a chapter she’s been carrying within her for long. Her intentions stem from maturity and selflessness. At the same time, cracks begin to show in her own marriage as she starts questioning Sanjay’s choices and the growing negativity around him. It’s a phase where she’s learning that letting go can be just as difficult as holding on.”
