Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi follows the poignant journey of Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan), a resilient young woman who has stood by her father Suhas (Varun Badola) and her siblings through every struggle. As her life takes an unexpected turn, Anvita finds herself entangled in a complex emotional triangle, troubled by her relationship with Sanjay (Rishi Saxena) and unsettled by his behaviour, while Virat (Rajat Verma), the man who left her at the altar, re-enters her life by helping her from the shadows, even as he fiercely challenges her decisions.
In the upcoming episodes, the simmering tension between Virat and Anvita intensifies as their confrontations at the café become a recurring pattern, revealing that beneath all the anger and power play, Virat’s love for Anvita remains unchanged. A turning point unfolds at a party when Virat arrives with Dhruvi (Garima Kaushal), sparking jealousy in Anvita and forcing her to confront emotions she has long tried to suppress, something Virat is quick to call out, pushing her harder to admit what she feels. The situation escalates when Anvita’s friend Diya (Meghna Kukreja) bluntly intervenes, calling out their confusion and making Virat realise that his actions stem from love, even if his ego refuses to let him say it openly. The emotional high point arrives when Virat boldly tells Anvita that he knows she still loves him and confidently claims that one day she will come back to him and confess it herself, even as he asserts control by threatening to take over her café and her life again.

Rajat Verma, who essays the role of Virat, shares, “Virat is a very layered character—on the surface he comes across as arrogant and controlling, but at his core, he’s a man who never stopped loving Anvita. His actions are often driven by ego and guilt, which makes his journey quite intense. In the upcoming episodes, Virat is forced to confront the truth about his feelings, even though accepting it doesn’t come easily to him. It’s that inner conflict between love and pride that defines him, and I think viewers will really connect with how messy and real that struggle feels.”
