The most rewarding part of this role was exploring his deeper emotional aspects, and the biggest challenge was portraying his innate confidence and emotional depth, as I myself have a somewhat reserved personality. Stepping out of my comfort zone and authentically portraying Virat’s journey has been a wonderful experience for me.
2. Virat is currently going through an emotional phase. How do you view his journey, from revealing his identity as ‘Veer’ to helping Anvita’s family?
Virat’s journey is a transformation driven entirely by love. He comes into Anvita’s life as a ray of hope, offering her comfort and support through her struggles. But when his true identity is revealed, he has to face the consequences of his past and grapple with emotional challenges. His unwavering support for Anvita’s family highlights his depth and ability to take responsibility. It also shows that she can be relied upon, even in the most difficult moments.

Sumbul is a brilliant actress, and we have a natural connection that translates beautifully on screen. We talk before scenes, understanding the characters’ perspectives and emotions. I have a genuine bond with all the child actors on set; they bring incredible energy, joy, and authenticity to every scene. Every day on set feels vibrant and full of life, and their enthusiasm makes the scenes we shoot even better. I’m most amazed by their dedication and skill. Despite his young age, the maturity and skill with which he performs often astonishes me. Watching him work, you sometimes forget his age; his focus, timing, and natural nature are truly inspiring. To portray Virat’s complex emotions, it was essential to understand him deeply. I try to understand the motivation behind his every move, the burden of his secrets, and how they impact his relationships. To do this, I study the script in depth, discuss them with the director, and reflect on it personally. This combination of observation, reflection, and experience helps me portray the layers of Virat’s character convincingly.
