The Indian Idol stage turned festive frenzy as contestant Anshika brought the spirit of Makar Sankranti to the set, sharing traditional tilgul with the judges and host. Smiling as she explained the significance, Anshika said, “We celebrate Makar Sankranti at home wearing black clothes, and the best part is eating tilgul. So I brought tilgul for all of you today.”
Pointing toward host Aditya Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal joked, encouraging Anshika to feed him first. Adding to the fun, Vishal Dadlani says that the tilgul would bring instant transformation, saying, “Tilgul kha ane sensible bola,” referring to host Aditiya Narayan
Shreya Ghoshal told Anshika and Aditiya Narayan to feed each other tilgul and speak sweetly about each other. Shreya Ghoshal remarks, “Anshika, tum one of the biggest rockstars of the world hone wali ho. Jahan-jahan jaogi, full houses honge.” and asks Aditiya to repeat what is said, and he repeated, but in a teasing way. As Aditya continued to pull Anshika’s leg.
The hilarious banter filled the set with laughter, warmth, and festive cheer, reminding everyone that Indian Idol is as much about joyful moments and camaraderie as it is about music and competition.
