Ninnishtam Ennishtam Synopsis
Anjali is an IT Professional who strives hard and aspires to become the CEO of a reputed organisation through her dedicated Work, Skills and Talent. A girl who dislikes men who do not honour women, she is firm on having a husband who supports her career, respects her dignity, freedom and does not dominate but understands her and stands by her at all times, devoting himself to the family. Anjali is a smart, intelligent, strong personality at work and conquers her workplace by her bold stature.
But, at home, where she lives with her grandmother, she transforms to a child like nature and adores her grandmother. Vicky (Played by Ameen Madathil) is the son of a business magnate. He has a strained relationship with his father and rarely talks to his workaholic father, who to him is responsible for the tragic death of his sister and mother. Living in a joint family with his grandmother, father, uncle’s family and cousins, Vicky likes to carry out all household chores with great responsibility and dedicates himself to serving the womenfolk at home. Respecting and honouring women is the prime human value to be followed by every man is his strong mindset from his childhood.
Mr. Manaivi Malayalam
He finds the digital media platform as a means to express his respect, care and concern for women and posts blogs under the title “Mr.Homemaker” which makes him popular among women. Reluctant to enter into his father’s business, he never accepts any of his father’s viewpoints. Swetha (Parvathy ), the daughter of his father’s partner, is madly in love with Vicky and wishes to marry him in Ninnishttam Ennishtam.
Meanwhile, the grannies of Vicky and Anjali, Devutty and Yashoda become close friends, meeting often at temples and share a special bonding with each other, finding ways to work out a relationship between their grandchildren and get them married. Vicky and Anjali meet each other circumstantially which creates a rapport between the two and love blossoms. Anjali who stands for equality sees in Vicky her ideal man.
Slowly Anjali realises her love for Vicky. But all hell breaks loose when Swetha, her uncle Jagannadhan and others are all out to make Anjali’s and Vicky’s life problematic. The Ninnishttam Ennishtam story unfolds on the life journey of Vicky and Anjali and how they are going to face the challenges in life thrown by the their own destiny and by others.
