As the nation gears up to welcome the New Year, Sony Entertainment Television is set to usher in a powerful new chapter with the return of MasterChef India, premiering 5th January, Monday to Friday at 9:00 PM. Rooted in the belief that ‘Desh Ab Frontfoot Pe Chal Raha Hai,’ the upcoming season celebrates partnerships, shared journeys, and the collective spirit to grow and inspire that defines India today.
This season introduces a unique Jodi format, where pairs from across the country step onto a national platform. Each duo represents India’s evolving identity—where progress is powered by relationships, and ambition walks hand in hand with heritage.

Adding their voices to this celebration are some of India’s most respected cultural icons. Amitabh Bachchan set the tone with his signature gravitas, saying, “Deviyo aur sajjano, yeh swaad hai Bharat ka—jisme peediyon ki virasat aur sadiyon ka sanskaar. Toh ho jaiye tayyar, aa raha hai MasterChef India, lekar har niwala Bharat wala, aur parosne jaa raha hai har plate mein India.”

Echoing the same sentiment with contemporary flair, Badshah added, “Ayurved ki parampara wala, ved–puran ke bhandaar wala, culture ke swag wala—desi hashtag wala.” Navjot Singh Sidhu described the spirit of the season as, “Duniya ke chakke churaane wala, chaaron dishaon mein apna parcham failaane wala.” While Shreya Ghoshal beautifully summed it up, saying, “Rishton ki khaatti-meethi shararat wala, aur saat suron ki maharat wala.”
