Indian Idol turned into a laughter riot during a special episode featuring legendary actresses Jaya Prada and Reena Roy, as contestant Suhail came in a quirky traditional look, instantly grabbing everyone’s attention. Host Aditya Narayan, amused by the transformation, teased him, asking why he had shown up in such an avatar.
Suhail explained with a grin that when Amritha’s father had visited the show earlier, she was extremely happy, so this time he decided to do something special to make her happy. Putting Amritha on the spot, Aditya asked if the plan worked. Laughing, she replied, “You are the best… the funniest part of the show, so of course I’m happy.”
The banter only escalated as Aditya jokingly told Suhail that he was more of a “chutkula” for Amritha. Taking the fun forward, Aditya proposed creating a dramatic scene where Suhail would play the hero, Amritha the heroine, and a villain would try to keep them apart.
Aditiya Naraya invited Jaya Prada to teach Amritha acting. What followed was a burst of laughter as Jaya delivered a dramatic performance, repeatedly calling out for help, “bachao bachao.” Watching Suhail freeze mid-scene, Aditya quipped, “Har take mein tum Om Shanti Om ki Deepika Padukone kyun ban jaate ho?”
