The Asianet Television Awards 2026 will celebrate excellence in Malayalam television while placing a special spotlight on women empowerment. This year’s theme, “She is the Colour,” honors the strength, resilience, and achievements of women who inspire society and drive meaningful change.
As part of this meaningful theme, the ceremony honors several remarkable women personalities, including legendary playback singer Vimala Varma, the first female Malayalam playback singer. The awards also pay tribute to Padmasree winners Devaki Amma and Kalamandalam Vimala Menon, recognizing their outstanding contributions.
