Cricket’s biggest party is set to return as top stars reach the West Indies for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The CPL will start on August 30 and go on till October 7th. A total of 34 matches will be played during this time, with each team playing the other twice in a round-robin format. The playoffs will start from October 1.
Antigua and Barbuda Falcons is the newest franchise inducted and they will join Guyana Amazon Warriors, Trinbago Knight Riders, Barbados Royals, St. Lucia Kings, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
Guyana are the defending champions, while Trinbago Knight Riders remain the most successful franchise in the history of the tournament.

Some of the top T20I players from across the globe have signed up this year’s edition. This includes the likes of Quinton de Kock, Rahmatullah Gurbaz, Chris Green, Heinrich Klassen, Tristan Stubbs, Faf du Plessis, Anrich Nortje who will join local stars like Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Evin Lewis amongst others.
Six matches will start at 7:30 PM, while others will be played at 4:30 AM India time.
