After eight successful web seasons and three hit films, the popular Bengali detective Eken Babu is all set to make his television debut on Sony SAB. The long-running and acclaimed hoichoi series, is set to be dubbed in Hindi bringing Eken’s unique blend of humour, wit, and clever problem-solving to a wider audience. The show will air on Sony SAB from 24th November at 10 PM.

At the heart of the show is the foodie and delightfully unconventional detective Eken Babu, played by acclaimed actor Anirban Chakrabarti, who has earned widespread appreciation for his charming and offbeat portrayal of the character. Breaking away from usual crime dramas, the show offers a fresh, light-hearted take on detective storytelling. Unlike the typical suave and sharp-talking detectives, Eken Babu’s simplicity, unpredictability, and everyday humour make him an instant favourite.
