Star Vijay Channel Pongal Premiers – Jayam Ravi Starring Bhoomi on 14th January at 2.30 PM
This harvest festival of Thai Pongal, celebrated religiously by Tamils all over the world is all set to be rocking with ultimate special programs and Movie Premieres only on Star Vijay. On 14 January first day of the Tamil month ‘Thai’ is so auspicious to Tamilians who worship Sun God with utmost devotion. On this day, the Sun is worshipped as the embodiment and source of Life-Force, without which our existence is not possible. On this festival day STAR VIJAY has lined-up exciting programs including premiere of block buster movies. Details of special day programs are given below.
14 January Pongal day
Sirappu Pattimandram at 9 A.M – An interesting talk show on topic “Kudumbathin ‘Bigg Boss’ Sambaathikkum Kanavana? Illai Anbana Manaiviya?”. The show will be hosted by none other than Gnana Sampandam who is known for his witty and sensible comments. The speakers are Erode Mahesh, Vijaya Sundari, Ezhilarasi, Mohana Sundaram, Rajmohan & Bigg Boss Nisha.
Arjun Varma Movie Premier at 10.30 AM – A blockbuster romantic drama starring Deverakonda Vijay Sai, Shalini Pandey in lead role and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. A brilliant medico who’s the topper of his class has anger management issues. What happens when he loses control of his life due to an unforeseen incident? Does he get a chance at redemption?
Jayam Ravi yin Bhoomi at 2.30 PM – A special celebrating 25th movie of actor Jayam Ravi. Cast and crew of the movie shares their experience and moments during the shoot. This show is anchored by Archana and Erode Mahesh.
Imsai Arasan at @ 4.30 PM – A comedy skit, with a time travelling king. This includes satirical dramas, acts and performances which explains old and new world. This show is hosted by Ma. Ka. Pa. Anand.

Penguin at 2.30 pm – A mystery thriller movie starring Keerthy Suresh, Lingaa, Madhampatty Rangaraj in lead roles and directed by Eashvar Karthic. Rhythm, a pregnant woman, is traumatised by nightmares about the unsolved kidnapping of her first child, Ajay. Soon, she embarks on a harrowing mission to solve the mystery of Ajay’s disappearance.
