FanCode adds Copa del Rey, Supercopa de Espana, Africa Cup of Nations for Football Superfans to kick off 2024 in style
Football fans are set for an exciting start to 2024 with FanCode, India’s premier sports destination. Three major football events will be exclusively broadcast on FanCode. This includes Africa’s top level football competition – the Africa Cup of Nations 2024 (AFCON), Spain’s premier cup competitions Copa del Rey and Supercopa de Espana.
The Africa Cup of Nations will begin from January 14, with the final scheduled for February 13. It will feature the likes of Mohammad Salah, Sadio Mane, Andre Onana, Thomas Partey among others.
Africa Cup of Nations 2024
Salah’s Egypt are the most successful team, winning 7 titles. Senegal are the defending champions this year. Ivory Coast will be hosting the championship this year. A total of 52 matches will be played and be available on FanCode. The 2025 edition will also be broadcast on FanCode.
Copa del Rey
Spain’s premier cup competition – Copa del Rey and Supercopa de Espana will also be available on FanCode for 2023/24 and 2024/25 season. This will feature top teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid amongst others. Copa del Rey broadcast will be available from the Round of 32 leg, starting January 7.
The Supercopa de Espana this year features Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Osasuna, with semi-finals planned on January 11, 12 and the final taking place on January 15. All the matches will be played in Saudi Arabia.
