Tune in to watch Hui Gumm Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyaan coming soon on Sony SAB
Sony SAB is all set to launch its upcoming medical drama Hui Gumm Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyaan, a story that explores life’s second chances. The show follows the extraordinary journey of Dr. Dev (Iqbal Khan), a man whose world changes overnight when memory loss leads him to rediscover his identity, the relationships, emotions, and choices that shaped him.

At the heart of this world is Vaani, played by actor Srishti Singh, a woman shaped by life’s tougher lessons. Vaani is resilient, self-made, and emotionally guarded, someone who has learned early that survival comes before sentiment. For Srishti Singh, Vaani isn’t just another character; it is a role that carries a personal connection. Having once been a biology student who even cleared Dental-BDS, playing a young resident doctor on screen feels like a way to honour her parents’ dream of seeing her become a doctor.
Talking about what makes this role personally meaningful, Srishti Singh shares, “My parents always wanted me to become a doctor and what makes this journey even more special is that I appeared for the medical entrance exam and got a chance to pursue a Dental – BDS degree. Life eventually took me towards acting, but a part of me always wished I could do something that made my parents’ dream come alive. When I wear that scrub on screen, I feel am honouring that dream in my own way. Stepping into Vaani’s journey is deeply emotional for me because she too is someone shaped by resilience, ambition, and principles. Through her, I get to experience a doctor’s life – a life I once came close to choosing, and that makes this role incredibly personal.”
