Contestants of India’s Best Dancer Season 4 – Rohan Choudhary
This weekend, the Grand Premiere of Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown reality show, ‘India‘s Best Dancer Season 4’, will see the ‘Best Barah’ showcase their extraordinary moves as they celebrate their journey from the ‘Stage to Stardom.’ The judges aka the ‘ENT’ Specialists – Karisma Kapoor, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis will announce an exciting but important milestone that will add an extra edge to the journey of the contestants.
For the first time, the Best Barah will be scored during the Grand Premiere, kickstarting the competition from the word go, and that’s not all! Out of the Top 12 contestants, only the Best 6 will have the opportunity to be seated in a special section week after week wherein they will have to strive hard to maintain their leadership.
Rohan Choudhary
24-year-old Rohan Choudhary, from Assam, started dancing at an early age and participated in various dance competitions before joining ‘India’s Best Dancer 4.’ Paired with choreographer Akash Thapa, the duo set the stage on fire with a quirky hip-hop routine to singer Guru Randhawa’s viral song, ‘Tauba Tauba.’
Geeta Kapoor commented on Rohan Choudhary’s performance saying “This is not a super performance but a star performance with two heroes on stage and a different andaaz. Rohan, the way you dance, you are such a powerful man. I am so happy that you are in the Top 12 and the hip-hop routine you both did was exceptional.
I am very happy that a tiger has come on the stage of ‘India’s Best Dancer.’ Good job!” She also took a moment to acknowledge Akash Thapa’s growth from being a contestant to joining this season as a choreographer and how proud she is of him.
Karisma Kapoor
Commented, “Rohan Choudhary and Akash, I really enjoyed the energetic performances. I feel that your performance was very clean, enthusiastic and yet simple. It was a ‘chust’ performance. ‘Tauba Tauba’ is trending all over social media, and similarly, Rohan will soon trend all over India. I loved the expressions and the vibe that both of you have, very simple and very pure but super, well done.”
An overwhelmed Rohan Choudhary also made a special request, saying, “Karisma ma’am, I am a huge fan of yours, and it’s my dream to share the stage with you.” Acknowledging his request, Karisma joins him on stage and together they dance to ‘Tauba Tauba’ compelling Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis, and the rest of the boys including host Aniket to join in as well.
This weekend, tune in to the ‘Grand Premiere’ of ‘India’s Best Dancer – Season 4’ at 8:00 PM on Sony Entertainment Television
