Grand Finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs

The Grand Finale of Zee Kannada’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs will be telecast at 7 pm on November 9 (Friday) and November 10 (Saturday). The winner of the Li’l Champ title for 2012 will be revealed in these episodes.Singer Usha Uthup and music director Gurukiran were the special judges for the final round. Vijay Prakash, who was one of the judges for the earlier rounds, was also on the jury. The final contestants for this round, which has already been filmed, were Gagan, Keertana, Aditi, Siddarth and Vishwanath. The energy and zeal with which the finalists performed swept the audience off their feet.

The Li’l Champs auditions had earlier been held in six centres across Karnataka: Gulbarga, Hubli, Mysore, Mangalore, Davangere and Bangalore. More than 2000 children had participated in the autidions; of them, 54 had been selected. The top 17 contestants participated in the televised rounds which were filmed in Zee Kannada’s studios in Bangalore.“Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is one of our most popular shows, and this is the ninth season. The show aims to encourage talented children without putting them under stress or causing any pain.
