This show is born out of two of the Great Indian Middle-Class Dreams of building one’s own home and getting their children married. Set against the backdrop of a middle-class household, the show delves into the financial and emotional struggles of Lakshmi and Srinivasa, an elderly couple embarking on their sunset years with big plans for his retirement funds, while their 5 children have already made their own plan for their share of Srinivasas’ retirement saving.
