Pooja Banerjee roped in for ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai. The most anticipated show ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’ is all set to premiere on Sony Entertainment Television soon. The Czarina of television Ekta Kapoor and her team is leaving no stone unturned in selecting a stellar star-cast to deliver a distinctive show to the viewers. The latest addition to the renowned cast is talented actress Pooja Banerjee. She has impressed viewers over the years with her diverse acting skills and will now be seen essaying the character of a high-class, elegant girl Aarohi in Dil Hi Toh Hai.

Aarohi is deeply and madly in love with the lead character Rithwik Noon (Karan Kundra) and wants to spend rest of her life with him. She is also friends with Palak Sharma (Yogita Bihani) in the show. The gorgeous actress has been an integral part of Ekta Kapoor’s Television shows as well as multiple web series. Pooja Banerjee says, “I am really excited about the show and my character as well. The show looks magnificent if one considers the scale, interesting story line and my character is absolutely stylish and glamorous. In my previous shows, I have always played strong roles but never got a chance to portray the character of a heartbroken girl who is madly in love with someone.

I am delighted that ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’ is giving me an opportunity to perform such a different role. I am enjoying the freedom to experiment with my look and clothes as ‘Aarohi’ is a classy girl. I was in Indonesia when I got a call from the production house and because Balaji is like my family, I didn’t have to think twice to say yes to them that too without questioning them about the script or my character. This is first time I am working with Sony Entertainment Television and am looking forward to work with so many talented actors in the show.”
