Child actor Ishant Bhanushali popular for his previous role as Hanuman in Sony Entertainment Television’s Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan will be soon seen stepping in the character of ‘Piplad’ in the channel’s most loved and watched show, Vighnaharta Ganesha. Stories around Lord Ganesha stories have always inspired and enriched its audience with fruitful knowledge. The show tends to revolve around the untold stories of the Hindu God Ganesha achieving good viewership across India. The upcoming track of the show will see another enthralling turn by bringing in the 19 avatars of Shiva on Indian Television for the first time.

In the show, Ishant will be seen essaying the character of Shiva’s first avatar ‘Piplad’. The 12-year-old actor confirmed saying, “I will be playing the role of Piplad, which is one of the avatar Shiv Bhagwan. I have always seen devotees worshiping pipal’s tree and not many devotees know why do we worship it including me. I am very lucky that I got this role as the stories of Lord Ganesha and Shiva not only interests me, but with this show I get to understand those stories deeply and this track will also help everyone understand the hidden story behind worshipping the Pipal tree.

Also, this is my second show with Sony Entertainment Television, I loved my previous show Sankat Mochan Hanumaan and I am enjoying shooting with entire cast a lot as much as I enjoyed playing Hanuman previously.”The upcoming track of the show will see all the 19 avatars of Lord Shiva followed by Piplad, Nandi, Veerbhadr, Bhairav, Ashwatthama, Sharbhavtar, Grihpati, Durvasa, Hanuman, Vrishabh, Yatinath, Krishndarshan, Brahmchaari, Bhikshuvarya, Sureshwar, Kiraat, Sunvartak, Yaksheshwer and Avdhood played by veteran actor Malkhan Singh.
