Amma Makal, the new serial which has a very warm and pleasant story to tell spotlights the beautiful bond between a mother daughter duo and the accidental turns that are about to happen in their lives.

Actor Mithra Kurian, who is known for her roles in movies like Bodyguard, Gulumal, Kaavalan, etc. is making her comeback with this eventful drama as the female protagonist. She portrays the role of Sangeetha, who is a great dancer and mother of the parallel lead. She is a mother who unconditionally loves her daughter and sacrifices her wishes and puts her daughter’s happiness first.

She has a very close relationship with her daughter where they’re more like friends. The role of daughter Anu is played by Maria. Anu is possessive about her mother, tends to love and hate without any bounds. The male leads are played by Sreejith Vijay

and Rajeev Roshan. Rajeev Roshan, the popular face in most of the hit serials boost the charm of ‘Amma Makal’.

The title song of “Amma Makal” composed by the famous music director Alphonse Joseph, has already garnered popularity among the audience. This enchanting melody starts with the line “Janmangal Theeruvolam Amma Kunje” in the soothing voices of Playback Singers Swetha Ashok and singer Anu Thomas making it a sweet melody on the ears.
