Kalakkapovathu Yaaru made the young talented hero none other than Sivakarthikeyan a household name. There are a lot of talented artistes everywhere and Vijay TV aims to recognize them and provide a platform to express themselves. Continuing its stride of success “Kalakkapovathu Yaaru” is being lauched after a couple of years on 19th July 2015 which shall not only recognize true talents but shall also reward the ultimate king of comedy.

Show Concept

A reality show to identify THE BEST COMEDIAN. After auditioning in 6 cities across Tamil Nadu (Madurai, Trichy, Nellai, Coimbatore, Salem and Chennai), 50 best comedians are shortlisted and they will enter the mega channel audition. 4 mentors will witness their performances and they will select 6 contestants in each of their team. In Each episode the contestants will fight each other within the team and other teams. After eliminating through various rounds each mentor will bring 1 best contestant to fight among each other at the GRAND FINALE.

Mentors Of Kalakkapovathu Yaaru

The 4 mentors will act as a Captain of the team. He will groom, guide and Help his team to compete with others and within. The mentor will be entitled to eliminate one weakest contestant from his team at the end of each round. They are Erode Mahesh, Mimicry Sethu, Amuthavanan and Priyanka.

Celebrities Panel

Each episode will have a pair of celebrities from fiction and nonfiction of Star Vijay. Apart from the celebrities commoners from different walks of life will witness the performances.
