DISCOVERY TAMIL, India’s only 24-hour Tamil factual entertainment channel, as part of its endeavour to expand its footprint further in Tamil Nadu, will now be available on leading satellite television services provider, Sun Direct. will be available on channel number 541 on Sun Direct. With the addition of this platform, Discovery Tamil is now present on Sun Direct, Tata Sky, Dish TV, Airtel Digital, Videocon D2H and other cable networks.

In the second quarter, the channel will launch a programming line-up that includes 18 brand new programmes and four new seasons of Discovery Tamizh’s popular series. Upsizing the overall entertainment quotient, Discovery Tamil will launch multiple breathtaking series in the coming quarter including Magic of Science, Superhumans Challenge, Control Freaks and a live event – Everest Jump Live. The channel will also see the first mini-series formatted programme – Klondike.
